About us
Homicide Latam is a virtual platform that systematizes contributions from public authorities and civil society in order to promote the quality of information and the prevention of homicides in the region.
The website is an initiative of the Laboratory of Analysis of Violence of the State University of Rio de Janeiro, an institution whose aim is the production of applied knowledge in the areas of violence, public security and human rights. It was made possible by the support of the Open Society Foundations.
